Tendinopathy or tendinitis is an extremely common condition often caused by unaccustomed overuse and the resulting breakdown of tendon fibres. It has been termed the “mid-life crisis of a tendon” by researches Luk, Tsang and Leung in 2014, and is most commonly seen in the aging population.
